The turbogrün Organic Lawn Fertiliser promotes healthy, even growth while improving soil fertility. To get the best results, follow these steps when applying it.

Before fertilising
The grass should be dry
Cut the lawn back by about one third beforehand
Make sure the cylinder or rotary blade of your mower is sharp to avoid unnecessary stress on the lawn
Even distribution & watering
Weigh out the total amount needed for your lawn area in advance
Spread the fertiliser evenly
Ideally, apply it just before a rain shower
Alternatively, water the lawn afterwards with 10–15 l/m²
Applying with a spreader (recommended)
The fertiliser is best applied with a broadcast spreader (e.g. Turbostreuer on setting 5) or a drop spreader. You'll find a matching spreader settings chart on our website.
Calibrating your spreader (recommended method)
Fill the spreader outside the lawn area
Mark out a 1 m² area on level ground (optionally lay down a sheet of plastic)
Spread the fertiliser evenly
Collect the fertiliser again and weigh it
👉 Guideline: approx. 100 g/m²
If it's too much or too little, adjust the spreader setting accordingly
Spreading by hand (for experienced users)
Spread the fertiliser evenly by hand
Once lengthways and once crossways, each time with half the dose
Don't let the spreading lanes overlap, to avoid areas of excess concentration
Over-fertilising with the turbogrün Organic Lawn Fertiliser is virtually impossible. If the lawn still turns brown ("scorching"), the dose was too high.
Tip: soil test in spring
Especially before the first feed in spring, we recommend a soil analysis so you know what nutrients your lawn actually needs. You're also welcome to contact us by email and we'll advise you personally on the right dose.
