How quickly does the weed killer work?

The time it takes weed killer to work varies depending on the type of weed. Warm weather noticeably supports its effect and leads to faster results.

When will the first results be visible?

• With many weeds, the first changes appear after just 2–5 days.

• The plants stop growing, look deformed and begin to die off.

• Dead weeds then turn brown.

Other, more resistant weeds need up to 14 days for this process.

Dealing with stubborn weeds

• With very stubborn weeds, a second treatment may be necessary.

• Allow enough time between applications so that the active ingredient can take full effect.

Area treatment for heavy weed infestation

If weeds have spread across large parts of the lawn, we recommend the following approach:

• Carry out an area treatment with the weed killer

• Once it has taken effect, fertilise with turbogrün long-term fertiliser

• Treat the weeds again after approx. 14 days

With this combination, most weeds can be removed permanently.

Note

Patience is important: even if not all weeds disappear straight away, the weed killer continues to work over several days. Warm, dry and windless days support its effect.
