How quickly does the weed killer work?

The time it takes for the weed killer to take effect varies depending on the type of weed. Warm weather significantly enhances its effectiveness and leads to faster results.

When will the first results be visible?

With many weeds, the first signs of change appear after just 2–5 days.
The plants stop growing, appear deformed, and begin to die off.
Dead weeds eventually turn brown.

Other, more resilient weeds take up to 14 days to undergo this process.

Dealing with Stubborn Weeds

A second treatment may be necessary for very stubborn weeds.
There should be enough time between applications to allow the active ingredient to take full effect.

Weed Control for Areas with Severe Weed Infestation

If the lawn is heavily infested with weeds, we recommend the following procedure:

Applying the weed killer to the area
After the effects of the fertilizer have worn off, apply Turbogrün slow-release fertilizer
Repeat weed control after about 14 days

This combination generally removes about 80–90% of the weeds in a sustainable manner.

Patience is key: Even if not all the weeds disappear right away, the weed killer works reliably over several days. Warm, dry, and windless days help ensure the best possible results.
