Steps for Applying Lawn Soil

Lawn soil is ideal for filling in gaps in an existing lawn or laying a completely new lawn. Depending on the application, follow these steps:

Fill in Gaps in the Lawn with Lawn Soil

• Lightly loosen the soil in the lawn

• Apply a thin layer of lawn soil

• Spread the lawn seed evenly

• Cover the seeds with another thin layer of lawn soil → this protects them from drying out and being eaten by birds

• Water the area thoroughly → keep it consistently moist for at least 14–20 days

New Lawn Installation with Lawn Soil

• Thoroughly prepare the soil → Remove branches, stones, roots, and other foreign objects

• Spread at least 10 cm of lawn soil evenly

• Spread the grass seed evenly

• Cover the seeds with a thin layer of potting soil

• Water the area thoroughly → keep it consistently moist for at least 20 days
