What precautions should I take when applying weed killer if there are young children or pets in the household?
Once you have applied the weed killer properly and the treated leaves have dried completely, there is no longer any danger to small children or pets.
Please note, however, that animals such as dogs or rabbits should not eat the treated grass during the year it is treated.
How often should the weed killer be applied?
If temperatures in your area are stable and don't fluctuate much, it's usually enough to treat the lawn with weed killer just once.
For stubborn weeds, another application may be necessary later.
The Right Conditions for Use
For optimal results, the following conditions should be met:
Ideally, the temperature should be between 15 and 20 °C
Cloudy, dry, and calm weather
No rain for at least 6 hours after application
We recommend applying the product using a pressure sprayer, as this allows for precise and even application of the weed killer.
Mowing Before and After Application
Do not mow for about 3 days before application
Do not mow for about 4 days after application either
This allows the weeds to develop sufficient foliage and better absorb the active ingredient.
Mixing Ratio and Application
10 ml of weed killer (1 measuring chamber)
Mix with 1 liter of water
enough for 10 m² of lawn
Spray the solution evenly over a dry lawn. Be sure to cover as much of the weed's leaf surface as possible.
Important Information About the Effects
After spraying, wait 2–6 hours (depending on the temperature) until the active ingredient has been completely absorbed
It shouldn't rain during this time
Once the leaves have dried, the lawn is safe to use again
Be patient after use
The effects are not immediate. It can take up to 14 days for the weeds to die off completely.
For very stubborn weeds, a second or even third treatment may be necessary.
