What should I keep in mind when setting up a new account?
Laying a new lawn is an exciting process that lays the foundation for a green and well-maintained outdoor space. Whether in a home garden, on public grounds, or at commercial sites—proper preparation and execution are crucial for establishing a healthy and durable lawn.
From choosing the right type of grass to preparing the soil and sowing the seeds (or laying sod), there are several steps to follow to create optimal growing conditions. In this context, factors such as location, soil conditions, climate, and maintenance play a significant role in creating a long-term green oasis that meets individual needs and expectations.
The most important steps for your new account:
Remove stones and weeds
Take enough time for this step to remove all large rocks, weeds, and roots. The more thoroughly you do this work, the more time and frustration you’ll save yourself later. It’s advisable to consider both mechanical methods and, if necessary, chemical weed killers to create a surface that’s as clean and weed-free as possible.
Removing rocks, roots, and other obstacles not only makes it easier to create an even lawn but also improves the soil's drainage. Weeding is just as important, since weeds compete for the nutrients and space that the new lawn needs.Train water managers

After removing stones and weeds (and incorporating the water manager), it is essential to thoroughly level the area and make it firm underfoot. Unevenness in the soil could lead to irregular lawn growth later on. First, the soil should be loosened and smoothed out, either using gardening tools such as rakes and shovels or even a rotary tiller, depending on the size of the area. Afterward, it’s advisable to compact the soil to create a stable surface.Water the soil a little/moisten it
Now it’s a good idea to lightly moisten the soil before you begin the actual seeding (or laying sod). Moistened soil promotes seed germination and helps the roots establish themselves.
Important: Don't use too much water!
After moistening the soil, wait a little while to allow excess water to drain away before you begin sowing the seeds (or laying the sod).Sowing Grass Seed
We recommend spreading the grass seed evenly. The best way to do this is with a fertilizer spreader.Organic lawn fertilizer (optional)
Now is the right time to introduce our Organic Lawn Fertilizer Apply the fertilizer. Be sure not to exceed the recommended amount and to spread the fertilizer evenly using a fertilizer spreader.
When reseeding, please use only organic lawn fertilizer. Any other type of fertilizer could provide your lawn with too many nutrients during this phase.
And if you'd rather not use the organic lawn fertilizer and would like to use a different type of fertilizer instead, wait until after the first mowing.Apply a very thin layer of topsoil
Next, add a little (!) lawn soil. This prevents the grass seeds from being eaten by birds and helps them germinate a little more easily.Water the soil, including the seeds, thoroughly
After applying the final layer of topsoil, it is important to water the seeds thoroughly and evenly to create optimal conditions for germination. The goal is to provide the soil with sufficient moisture without oversaturating it.
In such cases, we recommend watering the lawn several times a day, but only briefly!
Please note that the grass seeds require a lot of care in the form of regular watering during the first few weeks. This promotes the germination and growth of the young grass plants.
Once the lawn is firmly established and begins to show signs of growth, you can gradually reduce watering. A careful start lays the foundation for a lush, healthy lawn that will transform your outdoor space into a green oasis.
