Spreader settings for the Extra-Power nitrogen fertilizer

Depending on the model of spreader you have, different settings are required for applying the turbogrün Extra Power nitrogen fertilizer.
The recommended application rate is a maximum of 20 g per m².
All information is based on customer feedback and is continuously being improved.

Note: The following settings apply exclusively to the Turbogrün Extra Power.

Recommended setting for the Turbogrün spreader:
turbogrün Fertilizer Spreader → Level 4

Important Note on Use:
Extra Power is a highly effective nitrogen fertilizer. Therefore, you should exercise extra caution when using a spreader:

  • Weigh out the exact amount needed for the lawn in advance

  • Spread the fertilizer evenly

  • Be sure to water thoroughly after application

  • Recommended amount of water: approx. 12 l/m²

This will help you avoid over-application and potential damage to your lawn.

Here's how to find the right setting for your spreader:

  • Mark off an area of 1 m² on a flat surface (optionally, line it with plastic sheeting)

  • Spread the fertilizer over this area using the selected setting

  • Then sweep up the grit and weigh it

  • If the amount is about 20 g, the setting is correct

  • If there are any deviations, adjust the spread level accordingly

The following information is based on customer experiences and has not been officially verified. Please check it yourself before use and adjust it as necessary. Use at your own risk.

  • Gardena L → Levels 2–3

  • Gardena 415 → Level 2

  • Gardena Classic 300 → Levels 2–3

  • Gardena XL Disc Spreader → Level 3

  • Wolf Rechargeable Hand Spreader → Level 3

  • Wolf WE 330 → Level 5

  • Wolf WE 430 → Levels 9–10

  • Substral EasyGreen Universal Centrifugal Spreader → Level 19–20
