As long as you follow a few basic guidelines, using Extra Power as a fertilizer is generally safe for young children and pets.

It’s best to fertilize the lawn in the evening and then water it thoroughly, or apply the fertilizer right before an expected downpour. After watering with about 10 l/m², the fertilizer will have largely dissolved and been absorbed into the turf. From that point on, small children and pets can walk on the lawn again without any problems.
