How do I get rid of dandelions in my lawn?

As with most weeds, it is crucial to prevent dandelions from going to seed. Seed dispersal often begins within 14 days of flowering. As soon as the seeds settle on the ground, dandelions spread rapidly.

Why Early Action Is So Important

– The flowering stage itself should be prevented
– Mowing regularly at short intervals reliably prevents flowering
– Important: Mowing alone removes only the above-ground part—the root remains in the ground

How to Get Rid of Dandelions for Good

Depending on the severity of the infestation, we recommend two approaches:

1. Remove individual plants

– Use a weed puller to pull the plant completely out of the ground
– Make sure no root remnants remain in the soil
– Even small pieces of root can sprout again

2. Widespread infestation
