How often should the Water Manager be applied?

Why the "Turbogrün" Water Manager Is Becoming Increasingly Important

In recent years, droughts have become increasingly frequent and severe. Water is a valuable resource that we should use responsibly. This is exactly where the turbogrün Water Manager comes in: It stores water in the soil, releases it to the lawn as needed, and thus significantly reduces the amount of watering required.

Application on Existing Lawns

For existing lawns, we recommend applying the Turbogrün Water Manager about three times a year.
Over time, as a result of foot traffic on the lawn, natural and artificial irrigation, and mechanical maintenance, the granules work their way into deeper soil layers on their own, where they take effect.

Application After Aeration

If turbogrün Wassermanager is applied immediately after aeration, one application per year is usually sufficient. In some cases, even one application every two years is enough, since the granules enter the root zone directly through the aeration holes.

Use When Laying New Turf

When laying a new lawn, we recommend working the Turbogrün Water Manager directly into the subgrade.
If a quantity of 1 kg/m² is used and worked into the upper soil layers, no subsequent application is necessary. The water reservoir remains permanently available to the roots.
