When will I see the first results of fertilizing?

Experience has shown that after watering—ideally following a forecast rain shower—it takes about five days, or in exceptional cases 10–12 days, for a visible change to occur. The lawn will then look fresher, stronger, and more vibrant again.

With regular fertilization, these changes are often less noticeable, since the lawn is consistently well-nourished and stays green year-round.

If no change is visible

If no differences are apparent after fertilization, there may be several reasons for this:

  • The amount of fertilizer applied may have been too small

  • The lawn may be affected by a fungal disease

  • Existing thatch prevents nutrients from reaching the roots

  • The soil is heavily compacted, which causes dry spots to form and limits nutrient uptake

In these cases, it is advisable to investigate the cause thoroughly and take appropriate maintenance measures, such as ventilation, scarifying, or aeration.
