Product Instructions: Lawn Aerator

The Turbogrün lawn aerator actively supports soil life and improves soil structure. Since it is not a fertilizer, there is no risk of over-fertilization or overdosing.

Preparation

  • Mow the lawn before spreading the fertilizer

  • If the lawn has heavy or thick thatch, scarify it as well

Dosage

  • Standard dosage: 30 g/m²

  • For heavy lawn thatch: 50 g/m²

👉 Our tip:
Weigh out the required amount before pouring it in to ensure consistent results.

Application

  • It's best to use a centrifugal spreader, such as the Turbo Spreader (Level 5)

  • Experienced users can also spread the lawn aerator by hand

  • For consistent results:

    • once lengthwise

    • run across the lawn once

After application

  • The best time to apply it is right before a rain shower

  • Alternatively, thoroughly water the lawn afterward at a rate of 15–20 l/m²

  • If necessary, water several times until the lawn aerator has completely dissolved

Important Note

After the first watering, the turbo-green lawn aerator expands.
To help it break down more quickly and prevent it from being picked up by the lawn mower, we recommend lightly brushing the lawn aerator with a broom or brush.
