1. Soil Preparation

  • Remove weeds, branches, rocks, and other debris

  • Lightly loosen the soil

  • If necessary, mix the lawn soil with a little TurbogrĂĽn organic lawn fertilizer and apply it

  • The soil should then be firm underfoot but not compacted

2. Sow grass seed

  • Sow the seeds directly from the package or using a seed spreader

  • Sprinkle evenly, once lengthwise and once crosswise

  • Dosage: 20 g/m²

  • Gently press the seeds into the soil so they make contact with it

Our tip: Use the turbo blower on setting 5

3. Optional: Lay down lawn fabric

  • After sowing, you can cover the newly seeded area with TurbogrĂĽn lawn fabric.

  • Protects grass seeds from birds and other animals

  • Keeps moisture and heat in the soil longer

  • Prevents the seedbed from drying out too quickly

Important: Even when using a lawn barrier, the seeds must be kept constantly moist during the germination phase. The barrier reduces evaporation but does not replace watering.

4. Watering

  • Keep the area consistently moist for about 4 weeks

  • In dry weather, water briefly several times a day

  • When using the lawn fabric, check the soil moisture regularly and water as needed

  • Avoid waterlogging

5. First Cut

  • First mowing when the grass is 7–8 cm long

  • Trim to about 5–6 cm

  • Mow only with sharp blades

  • Then gradually reduce the cutting height further
