Product Instructions: Lawn Lime
Turbogrün Lawn Lime helps regulate the soil's pH level and creates optimal conditions for healthy lawn growth. To ensure the lime is fully effective, there are a few things you should keep in mind when applying it.
Preparation: Check the pH level
Before liming, we recommend determining the soil's pH level.
Over-the-counter self-tests are available
An even more accurate option is a professional soil analysis conducted in a lab, which you can also request from us
That way, you'll know exactly whether liming is necessary and, if so, how much to use.
The Right Time to Apply Lime
The best time to apply it is in the spring and fall. However, Turbogrün lawn lime can be applied year-round.
How to Use Turbogrün Lawn Lime
Mow the lawn beforehand
Grass should be dry
Weigh the required amount before filling
Dosage:
Standard: 100 g/m²

Carbonated lawn lime to promote soil fertility
The pH does not rise above 7
Waiting period between applying lawn lime and other products
Turbogrün Lawn Lime can be easily combined with other products:
No waiting period is required after applying fertilizer or performing other maintenance tasks
Lime can be applied immediately before or after fertilizing
However, it is best to apply the lime a few weeks before fertilizing. This allows the soil’s pH level to stabilize, enabling the lawn to better absorb the nutrients from the fertilizer afterward. However, this is not absolutely necessary.
