How do I prepare the lawn properly for winter?

There are a few things you should bear in mind to ensure that your lawn gets through the winter in optimum condition. The cutting height should be approx. 3 centimetres. Leaves, branches, grass clippings etc. should always be regularly removed from the lawn in the fall and shrubs, trees etc. should be cut back so that the lawn gets more light.

Moisture such as dew encourages the occurrence of lawn diseases such as snow mold, so it is best to remove this from the lawn daily.
