Smaller unevenness up to approx. 1 centimeter deep can be evened out with quartz sand. The best way to do this is to use ourTurbo green lawn sandand spread it roughly over your lawn. Then take aLawnrakeland spread the quartz sand evenly over your lawn;
Please note that the shorter you mow the lawn, the easier it is to spread the turbo green lawn sand afterwards. You must also make sure that the tips of the grass are still visible after sanding. If the lawn is buried under sand, it will be ruined. It is also advisable to fertilize the lawn a week beforehand, as this will help it to grow through the sand more quickly. A reseed can also be applied directly before sanding, but then not too much Turbogrün lawn sand should be applied;
For larger uneven areas, we recommend using a turf soil (soil/sand mixture). Here, too, you must ensure that the tips of the grass are still visible after spreading the turf soil. You probably won't be able to level out the unevenness all at once. You will then have to repeat this step until the unevenness is evened out. However, you should only repeat this step once the turf has completely grown through the turf soil;
In order to level out even greater unevenness more quickly, it is advisable to cut off the turf sod in the affected areas, lift it and underlay it with turf soil (soil/sand mixture). The lawn should then be watered regularly until it has grown back.
