Application steps for reseeding:Reseeding is suitable for closing gaps in the lawn
1. soil preparation
Remove weeds, branches, stones etc. from the ground. Loosen the soil and, if necessary, mix turf soil with a little Turbogrün organic lawn fertilizer and apply. The soil should be firm.
2. apply lawn seed
Spread the seeds directly from the packaging or with a spreading aid once with a longitudinal and transverse pass over the lawn evenly. Apply 20 g per m². Then press the seeds down firmly.
Our tip: Use the Turbo Spreader on level 5 for this.
3. watering
The area should be kept permanently moist for four weeks. In dry weather, water several times a day.
4. Mowing
As soon as the lawn reaches a height of 7 to 8 cm, it should be cut down to approx. 5 to 6 cm with sharp blades and can then be slowly cut deeper.
Spreader settings for our reseeding
Depending on the existing model, a different setting must be selected for the application of reseeding. The recommended application rate is 20 g/m². Our settings are based on customer feedback and are therefore constantly being improved;
Turbo green:Turbo green fertilizer spreader → Level 5
Your spreader wagon is not included? Then we recommend this option:
Mark out an area of 1 m² on a flat surface (optionally, a film can be laid out on the surface). Spread the grit on this area with the spreader wagon, then sweep it up again and weigh it. If it is approx. 20 g, then the setting is correct. If it is too much or too little, optimize the level.
