Product instructions: Turbogreen lawn sand
Before you start spreading the Turbogreen lawn sand the lawn grasses should be dry and the lawn mowed as short as possible. This makes it easier to distribute the sand in the lawn.
Our tip:
Aerate or scarify the lawn before sanding! But it is even better to aerate. You are also welcome to do both;
You can spread the sand in different ways, either with a spreader or you can fill the sand into a wheelbarrow and spread it roughly with a shovel. Alternatively, you can also spread the Turbogrün lawn sand bags evenly over the lawn and empty them.
If you are using a spreader, it is best to place the spreader outside the lawn to fill in the Turbogrün lawn sand. Please weigh out the required quantity before filling, and observe the general dosage (1.5 kg/m²).
Then it is best to take a Lawnrakel and use it to spread the sand evenly over the lawn. The tips of the blades of grass should be visible again at the end. Because if the lawn sand application is too high and the lawn is "buried" under the sand, your lawn will break.
Depending on the evenness of your lawn and the mechanical maintenance measures previously carried out, such as aerating, aerating or scarifying, you will need different amounts of sand. Between 2 and 4 kilograms per square meter are possible when aerating and scarifying. If you aerate, you usually need between 4.5-6 kilograms per square meter.
Please note:
Large uneven areas should not be treated with turbo green lawn sand, but with Turf soil be balanced.
