When is the best time to take a soil sample?

In our opinion, the best time to take a soil sample is between January and February. This is because the rain and snow in the winter months wash out many nutrients in the soil and the soil is neutral, so to speak. It is important that the soil is not frozen when the sample is taken.

However, a soil analysis can also be carried out all year round. You should only make sure that the last fertilization was 6-8 weeks ago.

It is recommended to repeat the soil sample at least every two years to check the development of the soil content and to adjust the fertilization plan.
