Product instructions: Turbogreen Stressmanager (potassium fertilizer)
As we have not yet completed the application of the Turbogreen Stressmanager As we highly recommend planting before periods of heat or cold, the best time for this is therefore the end of June and the middle to end of November.
It is the ideal complement to the Turbogreen autumn fertilizer but it does not replace autumn fertilization. So before you apply the Turbogreen Stressmanager in mid to late November, the Turbogreen Autumn Lawn Fertilizer should already be applied in early to mid October, for example;
The potassium contained in Turbogreen Stressmanager protects the lawn from fungal diseases by strengthening the cell walls and thus making it more resistant to heat and cold. The lawn becomes more vital, more robust, healthier and also greener. If your lawn has a potassium deficiency, you can also apply the fertilizer more frequently, i.e. 2 - 3 applications per year;
Before you start fertilizing, you should mow the lawn. To fill in the fertilizer, it is best to place the spreader outside the lawn. Please weigh out the required quantity before filling in the fertilizer and note the dosage (40 - 100 g/m²). The dosage also depends on what and how much other fertilizer you have applied during the year;
The best way to apply the fertilizer is with a centrifugal spreader, e.g. with our Turbo spreader at level 5 or with another spreader.
The more experienced among you can also spread the fertilizer by hand. Please wear gloves to avoid direct skin contact with the fertilizer. Always spread the fertilizer evenly! For optimum spreading results, run half of the specified dosage over the lawn lengthwise and half crosswise. To avoid over-fertilization, do not allow the spreading paths to overlap. It is best to fertilize directly before an expected downpour, or water the lawn extensively after fertilizing with 10 - 15 l/m².
Especially in spring, we recommend applying a fertilizer before the first fertilization. Soil sample so that you know the exact nutrient content of your lawn. You are also welcome to send us an e-mail so that we can advise you individually on how many grams of Turbogrün Stressmanager you can still apply.
Waiting time between the Turbogreen Stressmanager and other Turbogreen Products
The waiting time between Turbogreen Stressmanager and other fertilizers depends on the previous fertilization. In general, we recommend an interval of 4 to 8 weeks to avoid over-fertilization. One Soil sample before the first use of the Turbogreen Stressmanager can be helpful in determining the current nutrient requirements of the lawn.
