How do I fertilize my lawn properly?

We recommend fertilizing every 2 months from March onwards. Regular fertilization is crucial for a top lawn.

Here are some guidelines:

1. spring:

  • Two fertilizations in spring are important to revive the lawn after the winter. Use our Turbogrün slow-release lawn fertilizer in March and May.

2. Summer:

  • Fertilizing with our summer fertilizer in July is ideal to protect the lawn from heat and drought.

3. fall:

  • Fertilization in autumn (September) is crucial to prepare the lawn for winter and promote root growth. Use a fertilizer with a higher phosphorus and potassium content.

4. optional winter fertilization:

  • In some regions, light fertilization may be recommended in late autumn or winter to increase the lawn's resistance to cold and disease.

Instead of the first autumn fertilization, e.g. with our Turbogrün Autumn Lawn Fertilizer, you could also apply our Turbogrün Stress Manager at 40-100 g/m². This is also highly recommended at the end of June, before the lawn is exposed to extreme heat;

It is also highly recommended to apply our turbo green lawn aerator 3 times a year, preferably in the months of March, June and September;

Our Extra-Power is suitable as additional power. This should be applied at intervals of at least 4 weeks to the normal fertilizer with a maximum of 20 g/m².

Our tip:
You can fertilize very sustainably if you have us carry out a soil analysis at the beginning of the year. Based on this soil sample, we will create a fertilization plan for you so that you know exactly what fertilizer your lawn or soil needs.
