When can I apply weed killer after reseeding/replanting a lawn?

It is important to note that no weedkiller should be used in the first year of the grasses' life to prevent the young grasses from being damaged.

However, if only a small area has been reseeded, care should be taken to ensure that no weedkiller is applied to this specific area. The rest of the lawn can be treated with weedkiller without any problems.

When laying a new lawn, weedkillers should really only be used after one year. Before that, the weeds should be removed manually.
