As with most weeds, it is important that no seeds are deposited on the ground. It often takes less than 14 days for dandelions to set seed.
This is why the flowering stage of the dandelion should be prevented, which is very easy to do by mowing at short intervals, but the roots remain untouched. Two approaches can help here:
Individual plants can be removed with a weed cutter, but no root remnants should be left in the soil, as a new plant will sprout from these.
If the dandelion has spread over a large area together with other weeds, we recommend applying our Weed killer which also penetrates the plant roots. The herbicide is most effectively applied with a sprayer. Targeted spraying of individual plants is possible, which protects the environment. We explain the best way to apply the weed killer here.
Any gaps in the lawn should be filled with a Re-seeding be closed.
